Can't get an IP connection (or Short Message Service either) on my cell phone in Peoria, so for now I'm limited to when I get a chance to hook up the laptop (not mine -- belongs to the friend I'm helping move), which didn't happen at all yesterday. Pushed myself way too hard yesterday (didn't notice until it was way too late), so I'm in quite a bit of pain today, and it was even worse last night. Fibromyalgia SUCKS. Oh, wait; we already knew that. :-(
Wanted to post a journal entry from the air, but American Airlines said cell phones had to be turned off for the whole flight, so I didn't get a chance to find out whether the wireless IP network could handle that. (Last I heard the cellular network in general isn't designed to handle calls from aircraft and it makes for some confusion in the switching but does work (as recent events made widely known) anyhow. Not sure about the IP stuff.)
Plans here have stretched a day. Might not have Internet connection at all at next stop. More later, I hope.
