Δαφνη Ευτυχια Αρθουρος

Last night, on the Metro (underground where my phone doesn't work), I saw something clever and adorable. Not far from me were a mother and two small children. When the children started to get a little too noisy, the mother had an interesting way of distracting them into being quiet.

She started a sing-along with them.

In sign language.

It worked, and it was delightful to watch. I was impressed. (I also think it's cool that she's raising the kids bi-lingual. From watching the three of them, I didn't get the impression any of them were deaf; I was too shy to ask whether another family member was.)
