Δαφνη Ευτυχια Αρθουρος

Argh! I got tired so I went to bed, but then I failed to sleep. (No, it wasn't the coffee: a. that was decaf, and b. caffeine tends to make me drowsy anyhow, so maybe I'd have done better if it hadn't been decaf...) So I got up again. Not much email coming in, and too scattered/distracted to properly address the stuff already sitting in my in-box awaiting replies, so I got around to some overdue edits to my web site, including revising my performance calendar to reflect recent schedule changes. I tried writing some important recent developments in my private, paper diary, but my left arm wasn't working too well. I noticed my handwriting getting steadily worse well before the severity of the pain fully registered. I'm sure the shovelling I did earlier didn't help that.

Whoops. I thought too much about what tunes were running through my head, with the result that they changed. Now I'm hearing the word "insomnia" repeating to the tune of the chorus of "Victoria" by the Kinks.

I slept for seventy-five minutes and then a dream woke me up.

I've heard stuff about what it's supposed to mean when you fly in your dreams, but this had a decidedly "not-flying" feel to it.

So, any "stock interpretation" of levitation vs. flying? (And why is my mouth so terribly dry?)
