I've got stuff to do this morning and this afternoon. So I went to bed early enough to have a shot at waking up in time. Alas, I failed to fall asleep, so instead of lying in bed tossing and turning and feeling frustrated, or staying it bed reading, I decided to get up and Do Stuff until I felt sleepy again. I'm still up. But I've isolated the source of a worrisome noise in a computer (yet another power supply fan *grr*), run into a frustrating obstacle during an OS installation, and retreated to LiveJournal for a while, catching up on backlogged comments.
Including, if anyone's interested, responding to
angelovernh's complaint that I left out the best
part of the
"bizarre quiz" meme by forgetting to explain why I chose
each item. I wonder whether I should have made my explanation
for question #2 its own entry.
I think I'm going to be able to handle what I need to get done this morning. Whether I'll still be awake and feeling well long enough to deal with the afternoon remains to be seen. Hey, partial progress is still progress, no?
