Fuck -- no dial tone. No dial tone = no email, no LJ, & will exceed disk quota. Verizon said 1st repair appt. is Monday.

Phone: odd symptom - acts like it's off hook, not disconnected. Even when I unplug house from telco & hook instrument to NID.
