Not going to do a full concert review now (may or may not do so later) -- I need to crash -- but I will say this:

  • Adorable
  • Tight
  • Loud
  • Not afraid to be a little silly
  • Not afraid to use their cuteness
  • Energetic
  • Musically solid
My only real complaint was that it was hard to hear the lyrics (this was a problem with both opening acts as well). I would like to have gotten closer, but decided that I wouldn't have been able to see any better from within the mass of people standing on the dance floor than I could from the raised platform all the way at the back of the room where [livejournal.com profile] vvalkyri had noticed good sight lines, unless I elbowed my way all the way to the front. So I stayed put and put up with having to squint to see details of what their fingers were doing and enjoyed having a bit of space around me and a clear line of sight to the stage. And enjoyed watching [livejournal.com profile] vvalkyri Charleston to the more punk-tinged tunes (including a cover of "I Wanna Be Sedated").

For the record, vegan nachos are much better than they sound. And I am very tired.
