In light of "conscience clauses" for pharmacists and other health-care workers, [livejournal.com profile] nancylebov wondered, "Will security guards who think that Real ID is part of the bad guys' plan for the apocalypse be allowed to keep their jobs while not checking ID?" ( 2005-05-24)

So far I'm up to late Tuesday morning in my friendslist reading (though I skipped a lot of cut-tags to get there). And this morning I spent a little while answering some of the comments to my recent entries, though I'm still behind on responding to replies to my comments in other people's journals, and I'm still behind on email.

I think I'm a week and a half to two weeks behind on television shows I've taped. But it's probably not a bad thing to have a buffer of unwatched shows stacked up as we drift through the summer rerun season (note that I don't have cable), so that when I do feel like watching television again, I'll have something to watch. (Though I do wish they'd include 24 in the summer reruns, because I missed one episode and don't want to watch the following ones until I see the hour I missed, and will probably have to just grit my teeth and skip that episode anyhow, like I did in the same situation in season two. Any other show I follow, either it's no big deal to watch out of order or I know I can catch a repeat. But not that one. *grumble*)

I'm still recovering from the trip over the weekend, and I'm not in great shape, but I'm doing much better than I'd expected. I even made it to both rehearsals this week (though I arrived tardy to each). Pushing myself to make it to both has no doubt delayed my feeling properly chipper again, but with the performances coming up for both groups, getting to rehearsal this week was important.

And FWIW, pushing myself for the trip was worth it, even expecting to pay a higher health-price for it than I did. I'll try to get around to writing about the trip later today or sometime tomorrow; I've still got things I need to do today before I get tired again.

I'd like to go to Baltimore [LGBT] Pride this weekend, if I'm up to it (i.e., sufficiently recovered from last weekend by then), but I'm not making any solid plans. Making sure I have the energy for performances the following two weekends is a higher priority.
