Saturday JULY 8 -- TOWN GREEN PARK CONCERT (BOWIE, MD)

The Homespun Ceilidh Band will perform as part of the Bowie Saturday Concert Series.

We will play between 2:00 - 4:00 PM.

Admission:	Free
Location:	The Town Green Park 13050 9th Street Bowie, MD 20715
(Rain location: Knights of Saint John Hall, 12th St & Chestnut Ave.)
Parking:	On-street (mostly free).

How to get to the Bowie Town Park:

• Take your best route to Route 193 (Greenbelt Road) in Greenbelt.
• Follow Route 193 away from Greenbelt further out towards Bowie, well past Goddard Space Center.
• Turn Left onto Route 564 (which also becomes 9th Street where the park is).
• On Route 564, cross Springfield Road. Cross Church Street, where there are shops on either side of you.
• After those landmarks, there is a small park on the right, before the Town Green, it has a small vintage cannon on it. Pass this park and go a few more blocks.
• On Route 564/9th Street, the Town Green park is very small and on the left; it has a large bird sculpture that is painted blue, and the bird is wearing a suit. IMMEDIATELY LOOK FOR PARKING.

If you go over a bridge that spans railroad tracks, you have just passed the Town Green park. Turn around and look for parking.

YOU CAN PARK in the bank's & other parking lot across the street from the Town Green, or along the residential streets that flank the park. (Read any signs relating to parking strictures where you choose to park.)
