Jay Leno: "Why ten days, did you suck at it?"

Kiefer Sutherland: "I got -- I've been fired."

JL: "You got fired?!"

Kiefer Sutherland: "Yes, [to audience] just so you know, I've been fired. I was never happier to come back to 24, I felt safe there [audience laughs] Musicians are nuts!"
