head hurts. real bad. migraine? feels different. oh, right. breathing trouble is major clue: this is sinus headache. which reminds me to be freshly annoyed that state-run health plan does not cover zyrtec at all now. before, they refused it until dr.'s office called to say 'patient actually needs this'; but since change from pharmacy-plan to hmo-ish thingummy, they don't cover zyrtec at all, not even at the brand-name copay rate.
so i can get prescription for it now, but can't afford it -- apparently list price is $92.99 for 30 tablets? wtf? i do have some left, but only thanks to one of my canadian friends. it's otc up there, and cheaper -- just grabbed first google hit and instead of $90 for 30, it's $30 for 90 (waitaminute -- i don't recall ever having noticed generic version in us, but web site lists brand+generic versions in canada, and i think what was handed to me at pennsic was generic ... are canadian drug patents shorter or is this some funky (or just f'ed up) marketing matter?)
okay, could be much much worse -- I could not have canadian friends willing to do such favours for me. i'm not completely screwed, just very inconvenienced and extremely annoyed (and staring at a prescription i couldn't get before because i had no health coverage and thus no doctor to write it, and now i have it and it does me no good because the system is so out of whack).
at least it didn't get bad until i was nearly home from hcb rehearsal. still, a nastybad headache now. hope i'll be able to get to sleep despite it. will resume using shift key for more than just punctuation when i feel slightly less crappy than this, i promise. was tempted to do parentheses 9like this0 but figured that would just confuse people.
