Much less pain than yesterday, but extremely tired. Gotta
drag myself out to the pharmacy in a little while, then ought
to make another attempt at buying a DTV converter box. (My
experience so far has been that each store only carries a single
model, which they're sold out of ... and which the salespeople
know absolutely nothing about, like whether it's programmable,
or how many timed events in can store.)
I dreamt that I fell, on the Moon, bone-jarringly hard,
sending up a cloud of dust. And though the sensation of
falling did not wake me, the thought that I had to calculate
how far I would have to fall to hit that hard in lunar
gravity did wake me. (So I was already starting to wake
up by the time I thought to check my spacesuit for damage,
so I'm left wondering how that came out. It was an Apollo
era suit.)
My left thumb is twitching. This is quite disconcerting.
If I don't look at it, it's just an odd sensation similar to
an electrical shock. If I do look at it, seeing part of my
body move of its own accord is disturbing.
It's not constant -- it'll go quiet for a few minutes
then start up again, and sometimes the movement is faster
and smaller than in this video (I happened to catch it at
just about its most extreme).
Odd.
