[If you ask me, "What are you?", my answer will vary according to the context in which the question is asked. But if you catch me completely unawares with that question, not already thinking of a particular context, I've discovered that the answer most likely to pop into my head (and out of my mouth) is, "I'm a guitarist." (But y'know, come to think of it, there was a time a long, long time ago, when I might have answered, "I'm a [soccer] fullback". The athletic part of my identity was definitely specifically as a defender, so I would've said "fullback" before I said "soccer player". Wow that was a long time ago, now.)]
