Another kind of odd couple of weeks, another last-minute gig announcement that I'd meant to make a while ago, another big pile of posts-I-should-write stuck in my head until I have a less scattered couple of days -- a little too familiar, but here I am.

Tomorrow, 31 August 2014, The Homespun Ceilidh Band will be performing at the Virginia Scottish Games. We're scheduled for 4:30 PM in the Fiddle Tent, but that's in festival-time so we could possibly go on a little early or a little late depending on how things are running on that stage.

This event is held at Great Meadow, in The Plains, VA, a large, nice site. Plan for plenty of walking, and of course come much earlier than our show so you can enjoy the rest of the Games too! (Directions and admission fees on the event web site.)

This is on the heels of a War of 1812 event last weekend, and an impresive wedding the weekend before, but then we'll have a little downtime after this.
