I am not organized. I'm trying.
I should try to get more done at my house in Baltimore this weekend, and would welcome help. Short days still, since I still have no water there. I plan to spend a few hours moving stuff around on Sunday -- maybe this afternoon as well, depending on my body and who is available to help and uh cosmic rays and stuff, but I'm aiming at Sunday because I'm so late trying to set anything up for today, and my being awake now is not a great omen for the afternoon.
(I'll also try to organize things in Bowie to be able to make use of a helper or two here in case the only folks who can help are only available for Bowie, but really I've got a lot less to do at Mom's old house until there's more space in my house to move stuff to.)
First priority in Baltimore is making sure all the radiators are accessible, so that whenever the plumbing does get done, the plumber can fill the heating system and check it for leaks too. Next after that (well, skipping things like "get estimates for ___") is probably taking the absolute jumble of stuff in the second-floor bedrooms and arranging it more efficiently (removing recyclables and such as I go), so I can move most of the contents of the office (which has a roof leak) into the bedrooms. I've got a list of smaller stuff that I or any helpers need to do, too.
Like I said, short days. Especially until I have water again there.
Please try to hit my email address (dglenn@panix.com) or my phone (9196495862@txt.att.net), because Facebook has been terribly flaky for me the last forty hours or so. Thanks. It looks like this is going to be a longer project than anticipated, so I'll be asking again.
