Some things are especially well suited to Twitter, despite being longer than 240 characters or whatever the curent limit is. For example, this thread from @A_single_bear, 2018-07-30:

I fell over again. I am a bear.

I was able to get back up.

Oh no.

I fell again. I am not going to get back up this time. I will continue letting my entire bear self be spread across the forest floor. I refuse to get up. Not ever. I am a bear.

Please do not ask me to get back up after this fall. I am staying where I am. I will make this dirt my home.

I do not care if the sky continues to hurl water at my nose. I will stay right where I am. I am a bear.

There is substantial evidence and history that rationalizes my not getting up. I am almost guaranteed to fall over again. It is unpleasant. No, getting up is not for me. I will continue being here among the worms and tiny puddles. Do not ask me to get back up please. I am a bear.

Okay, I would like to get back up now.

I will get back up but everyone in the forest has to promise me they will try to help me not fall, especially small sticks that are difficult to see on the ground and hills. Please promise me this, sticks and hills.

I did not get a response from any stick or rock but I will still get back up. I think I deserve to be up and moving around and not stuck in tiny puddles. I am a bear.

Oh no...

I almost fell. I did not fall. I am going to my cave for a nap. I am very tired. I am a bear.

[I'm not sure what went wrong yesterday. This morning's quotation was supposed to be yesterday's, and this was supposed to be this morning's quote...]

"Speedy is an asshole, true, but assholes are incredibly useful and having one improves the overall quality of your life." -- Hope Blackwell, narrator of Greek Key - A Hope Blackwell novel, by K.B. Spangler (2015, A Girl and Her Fed Books)
