From an anonymous contributor to the most amazing Twitter thread about museum & archaelogy mishaps, 2020-11-09:
My first 'Oops, I broke something' story is pretty memorable.
I'm rather...buxom. I once leaned across a model ship and broke the mast. I like to say Helen of Troy's face launched 1,000 ships but my tits can sink at least one.
[The thread was started by madeline odent (oldenoughtosay) writing, "Okay heritage folx, quote tweet this with the story of That Time You Broke an Artefact. DMs open if you need to be anonymous." As someone who is not in that field, I found the examples fascinating. Happy Thanksgiving -- enjoy the thread!]
