"Gods of the Marketplace," I like it. Well before the current generation of so-called "free marketers" came along, I used to say that my reason for not debating politics with the libertarians in fandom was that I was always taught it's not polite to argue about religion. ;-)
And the other point that is well-taken is that I would have more respect for those in politics who profess to believe that the market can do no wrong if they didn't seem to constantly be unhappy with its results.
