Got home a little while ago. Dirty laundry will wait until I've slept before I unpack and deal with it. So will a proper post here, and email to various people. Physically, I'm a mess. Was out of reach of the Internet for the past couple days. Observation: the PA Turnpike is more or less okay in a car (a bit bumpy in places, still plenty of construction to dodge, a little twisty-turny, but doesn't seem really bad until you realize I68 is a short distance south of it), but it is ICKY ICKY BAD BAD BAD UGH YUCK in a large-ish rental truck towing a trailer holding a station wagon. Way too [expletive] narrow, those lanes are. Despite how the truck would have struggled on the hills on I68, it would have been much more pleasant to have the wider road.
