Intense day. Good day. Will probably write more about it later, but long-story-short is: photographed the wedding of two friends, Russian Orthodox ceremony, long on ritual, very pretty; knew very few people at the reception but I met some cool folks and was glad that xpioti showed up; short jam session started towards the end of the reception (I brought guitar, recorders, and ashiko); and I was urged to come back to that church again -- for a Russian festival, for Easter, for whenever. Environment felt friendly. Now tired, crashing early.
