Not my most productive weekend. Spent large chunks of yesterday catching up on sleep. Hadn't planned it that way, but it was probably a good thing. Felt like I was moving in slow motion today, but I did get a few things done, including re-routing audio cables in the office so that I can listen to the CD player and RuPaul (my Win95 box) and my guitar all at the same time -- I've temporarily given up on getting any sound out of BoyGeorge (my WinNT machine), and putting audio into RuPaul will have to wait until I get more adaptors. I also finshed (I think) tweaking the melody of a jig I started writing more than a year ago. Now if I could get the chords to work right...
I've got a slight sore throat, so it's probably a good thing I didn't try to go photograph the Fyrdraca today (I'd already decided not to go, when I found out today's voyage was cancelled anyhow). I don't think I've ever actually seen Fyrdraca in person, though I've ridden in Gyrfalcon, the Longship Company's smaller vessel. (I'm not a member of the Longship Company, I just have a bunch of friends who are.)
Here's hoping that a) I can finish the stuff my boss is waiting for tonight, and b) someplace within driving distance has reasonable weather for viewing the Leonid meteor shower Tuesday morning.
This morning I woke up from a dream in which I ran out of paper to write my questions on in a music theory class, so I started writing in small print on the blade of a knife. Just after I turned in a half dozen writing-covered knives to my teacher, I woke up.
