yesthattom suggested creating a National Update Your Damn Profile Day. I'm going to reinterpret his wishing that someone would do so as his having done so, and start spreading this meme. Like Tom, I hadn't updated my LJ profile since I signed up, despite having the sentence "I'll probably decide I don't like this paragraph, and change it soon" in there since May 2002.

I updated my profile today. Tom was kind enough to supply a convenient link to the relevant LiveJournal page to edit your profile without having to go back to the left-hand link bar on the main screen or a comments page, just to give us all even less of an excuse.

If you pick up on this meme, go comment on Tom's entry so he'll know what he's started. I'm leaving comments enabled here in case anyone wants to comment on my edited profile in particular.

Of course, this means I'm continuing to procrastinate on other stuff...
