Leg and back pain kicked me out of bed, so I figure I'll post something short while waiting for meds (and a tryptophan bomb) to take effect.
I made it to HCB rehearsal last night. Late, but
less late than I got to 3LF on Tuesday, so in the
spirit of optimism I'll hope it's a trend. I'd spent
the night at
anniemal's house, and just
before I left there I tried to post a link to a
NASA web page about the Lunar eclipse that Fred
pointed out, with a cute warning at the bottom, but
LJ kept informing me that my journal was temporarily
in read-only mode and I should try again later. So
I nohupped a script to keep trying, but apparently
the error message counts as a success code for clive
so that trick didn't work, and now the eclipse is
old news.
After rehearsal, even though I don't follow baseball and normally don't give a hoot, I did check WTOP to find out whether the Red Sox had won, just 'cause the whole not-since-1918 and curse-of-the-Bambino angle plus the number of recently-giddy friends I've got in Boston made it an interesting enough story to want to know. Of course, certain predictions (and an amusing note about a movie in produciton that now has to be rewritten -- scroll down in the comments) makes it even more interesting.
Veering off in a random direction ... I am not going to OVFF. I have never been to OVFF. Some day I really want to go to OVFF. Many years I have had a schedule conflict; most years I've not had enough money. But someday I shall make it to an OVFF. Someday. I'm not sure when having the money and energy will coincide with not having a schedule conflict, but it's gotta work out sooner or later.

why George W. Bush won't join the SCA.
