I don't have a problem with DRM as long as there's mandatory plain-language full disclosure along with it. Sell whatever subset of what the consumer thinks they're entitled to that you want(*). Let the market decide.

The software will hide itself from you, and may not be compatible with DRM software installed by other vendors when you play their discs. Attempting to remove this software may disable your computer's optical (CD, CD-RW, DVD, DVD+RW, etc.) drive.)"

(*) Watch out for collusion laws, though.
