I've considered catapults and energy weapons (sound-tracking directed-EMP generator to knock out thumpy car stereos at obscene hours, or just a tightly focussed beam of sound that sounds like feedback at a painful volume), but have refrained for exactly that reason. I've been tempted to put it on somebody else's roof ... but I watch CSI and I'm not sure I can clean up the evidence leading back to me well enough. (Not that Baltimore can spend what television-Vegas, television-NYC, or television-Miami does per case, but not knowing just how diligent the local cops would be, I don't know how paranoid to be.)
