Actually, I don't like eggplant in any form I've ever come across, so I guarantee I won't like any preparation of BG. :D

I'm ok with the eggplant, but tell me: Is there any way of getting prepackaged baba gannoush that doesn't contain dairy products? Seriously, I damn near poisoned myself with a container of President's Choice baba gannoush once, as I opened it and was about to take a big bite, got a whiff and thought "Waaaaitaminit..." Turns out there was sour cream in it. How disgusting. Please do not adulterate my Middle Eastern goodies with milky substances! I really have better things to do with my time than rush back and forth to the toilet, break out in hives, cough, and itch...

I ask merely because making it is such a pain in the ass. Failing that, do you have an easy recipe?

Well we both know thy refrigerator. Semi-frozen baba ganoush isn't buckling its lid with fermentation. Whaddya want out of eggplant? It's pretty heroic if you ask me.
