Quick Update

Not recovering as quickly as I'd hoped/expected. Wondering whether one or more of my continuing symptoms are caused or (slightly more likely) exacerbated by recent change in meds. Also wondering whether I'll be fit to play on Saturday. Being able to be out of the bathroom more than half an hour at a time would be a nice start in that direction. Cheerful report on last weekend still coming ... uh, soon.

The first time I got a stomach flu, I was advised to eat an all-white diet (when I could eat again): bananas, plain yogurt, dry white toast, white rice with nothing on it, and lots of water of course. What was surprising was how good such bland food tasted.

Anyway, I hope you feel better soon, and you're well enough to play on Saturday.

I wound up eating more beige, but a similar basic idea. (I was nearly out of bread, and I tend to forget rice exists despite having a large supply of it, so I made cracked wheat.)

Thanks. Saturday is looking possible, even likely, but not yet certain.
