I have good luck, too ... but my bad luck tends to be much more spectacular (and more amenable to very short descriptions).
Come to think of it, one of the most important aspects of my good luck is being blessed by so many friends ... who, ah, often wind up stepping in to assist me in recovering from my bad luck. Go figure.
Really bad luck would have been if the spare had been flat (it's happened to me) or if the "we're going to customize what should have been a generic item" handle for the jack had been missing (yes, that has happened to me before as well). As it was, it cost me twenty three minutes (fifteen minutes to change the tire, the rest as a result of reducing my speed to accomodate the toy spare), a tummyfull of stress, my planned visit to my Mom's house for Mothers Day (didn't want to add that long a trip on the donut), and $21 for a used tire (installed) later. I still got to the event site in time to repair a damaged microphone (with a lot of help from justgus37 but fortunately without needing to plug in the soldering iron I'd brought with me for the purpose).
Then again, the second thing I did after I arrived was to break my jar of anti-migraine tea ...
Wait 'til I get around to telling y'all what happened on stage the week before though. Yeah, Murphy stalks me.
