Oy, that was dumb. Before heading to the kitchen, I decided I was hurting badly enough to take my second dose of painkillers (on halfway decent days I only take them at the start and end of the day; on not-so-good days I take another dose in between).

That's when I noticed, looking at the pill-minder, that in all the "am I falling back asleep or not" this morning, I forgot to take the first dose. Maybe that would've been enough to have been able to get out and do something fun today after all. (The sleep issue would've still been there, but maybe...)

Damn, I feel stupid.
