Hmph. My work allows culottes, and gaucho pants, but not shorts. Therefore, I wear them, because they are loose and cool. In this weather, if a mullet kept me cool, I'd wear a mullet.

In extreme weather, many fashion 'sins' are forgiven. Kinda like how people for whom fasting would be dangerous don't fast on fast days.
