Heh. Which reminds me of the friend who spiked his bird feeder with cayenne pepper flakes to discourage the squirrels (the birds pick up seeds individually, so the pepper flakes don't get eaten by them, but squirrels just shovel pawfuls into their mouths, so *they* get a nice dose of hot pepper with their stolen birdseed).
Worked on all the squirrels except one, who apparently developed a taste for spicy food...
One of my ex-girlfriends had a cat who liked jalapeño peppers and would steal them off of pizza, leaving the cheese and other toppings behind. (She also liked avocados, but I've heard that's not so unusual.)
Apparently, Perrine doesn't share that trait -- and I didn't even think the palak paneer was all that hot! But she does like the water from canned vegetables.
An ex-coworker's cat was mad for nectarines -- he couldn't eat them in the house because the cat would climb up his body and out his arm to get to the fruit.

As opposed to one of our cats who *likes* lamb vindaloo, to the point of licking up the sauce if there's no more meat left.
