Yes, it definitely sounds like I would enjoy that. I don't have quite your passion for sorting, but I am familiar with the sorting urge.

And I found a curious satisfaction in gradually unravelling how parts of the Library of Congress numbers made sense, when I worked in my university's library -- I was never able to be content with Dewey Decimal again after having been exposed to the LC system.
