Even assuming that he's not talking about "political truth," whatever the hell that means, what exactly is "the real truth of our lives" and or "the real truth of our societies"? Does that mean actually coming out and saying, things like "Our social safety net sucks, Mike Harris did more to fuck up this province than any other ten premiers combined, the reason we don't have any money to do anything governmentally anymore is directly correlated to the top marginal tax rate paid by the wealthy and corporations, and OHIP works, and dammit, people like it," instead of pussyfooting around with mealy-mouthed politician's circumlocutions?
