Argh. Body getting to the 'fall over soon' point. Still hoping to find ride for tonight, but feeling less than certain I'll be in any shape to make it anyhow -- current plan is to hope that I can get a short nap and show up late. Wanted to go to a free concert in Rockville tomorrow (again, assuming I can find a ride from Baltimore), but given the way I feel now, I'm pretty sure this weekend will be either tonight's party or the concert but not both (if I manage to gather enough spoons to get to either).
Feel like I'm moving & thinking in slow motion. This annoys. Wanna have a social life, doggone it; wanna see folks I haven't seen in too long. *pout* (Did make it to one dinner party last month, fortunately, but there are a lot of people I've not managed to see in a very long time.)
Oof. Just reread above. Need to improve disposition before inflicting myself on others. Well, managing to recover enough to go out will also improve mood, if I manage that. Here's hoping.
Started day w/ much more optimism despite poor sleep. Failure to get back to sleep to rectify deficit is big part of current mood/condition.
