Dear Perrine,

You know that long, fluffy thing that follows you around and knocks stuff over when you get upset or excited (and sometimes winds up sticking in my ear)? It's attached to your butt; it's a part of you. Please try to keep track of it. Kthxbye.

-- the one who has to go figure out how far away you just accidentally flung the X-Acto knife using your hindmost appendage ... lest I find it later on with my toe.

Pirate Jenny is lately busy chasing her tail -- in the bathtub. I've given up asking.

We kept our Vir's mama for a few months while her people got divorced. Mother and son would hold friendly Mexican deathcage wrestling matches in the bathtub. He was bigger, but she was an ex-stray with a notch in her ear and thus knew how to fight dirtier.

Hi, this is Jeanneane. I've added you to my friends list, even though I noticed you don't journal. I think we know each other, that is if Vir's mama is Kuro. :) Let me know if you want to be removed.

A few of those had me laughing/exclaiming aloud; all were worth the time to click on and read -- thanks. I can so picture that shaving incident in my mind...

There's something in the air... my cat Harvey has been acting up recently. I finally had to ban him from the bedroom so I could get a decent night's sleep. Waking up choking because he's place his butt right in front of my face was not fun.

Tell Sheepie I'm still trying to reach her... had to work late today. :(

Will do, soon as I remember to call her.

I don't think this could be about your handing her over to me to trim her daggers. Do you?

I don't think she even noticed she'd done it ...

That's frustrating. About the only thing worse than that is a cat who does that and startles herself when the things she flings make noise. To be fair, Embla has gotten better on both counts over the years.

She's startled herself when her tail has knocked things over, but not enough to run away, just to crouch/turn/stare. Does that count?

Did you find it? Without using your toe?

Fortunately, yes.

Good. That is happy. You with a sliced-open XActo Knifed toe is a very sad thing.
