Oh how long is it? I've got a Scion xB which has a lot of square footage but not a lot of length.

Seventy-five inches. If the xB is a five door and has bucket seats (I am completely unfamiliar with that vehicle other than a side photo that Google just found for me), then the length shouldn't be an issue -- it fits in a Mazda 323 hatchback with the rear seat folded down and the neck sitting over the parking brake.

And if I do make it to Virginia, I'd be in Arlington, near Chain Bridge. Is that a workable pickup spot in relation to where you are?

ugh...Chain Bridge is kind of tricky because there's no easy way to get there from Alexandria and it takes at least 30mins in the opposite direction. I hate to say no but I've got to run errands in the AM before I get there and I just don't navigate well before 10am. So sorry. Maybe next time? I have a feeling the weekend is going to be a wash as well. *sigh*

I'm trying to think of someone who is coming from that way - like Herndon or Fairfax. Too bad Mea is in London else she'd probably be able to do it.

I managed to find a ride directly from Baltimore (*whew*). Thanks for considering it though, even though the geography didn't work out.

I guess from Alexandria you head right through town?

See you tomorrow!
