"I guess every generation is doomed to fight its war...suffer the loss of the same old illusions, and learn the same old lessons on its own." -- Phillip Caputo

Bonus quote for today, just because I know it's going to earworm me all day regardless:

"Tin soldiers and Nixon coming,
We're finally on our own.
This summer I hear the drumming,
Four dead in Ohio."
-- Neil Young, "Ohio"

So you earworm the rest of us? :)

Don't worry, it's been in my brain off and on over the last few months. And I'm old enough to remember where I was during Kent State....

(OT - I picked up the 40th anniversary issue of Rolling Stone mag the other day. Doesn't seem possible it's been around that long. Then again, I'm still here...)
