Uh oh. Perrine just discovered that there are sometimes birds on television. (I wasn't quite sure how meaningful television images were to her until just now.)

Of course there's no sense of scale, so that whopping big owl probably looks fun to chase, instead of something that might chase her...

My mom's old cat used to lie in front of the tv while my parents were watching hockey, and occasionally take swipes with her paws at the puck.

My cats often attack the TV screen. It's hilarious! Abby (the white one) likes to hung the DVD screen saver that comes on if I leave a DVD on pause too long.

Every now and again a cat will be completely fascinated by something on the screen. My late Fozzie would absolutely be entranced by Elmo on Sesame Street. The cat would stare at this segment whenever it came on. He would watch with all the intesity of a cat stalking prey. I was highly amused when after watching a segment on jackets by Elmo, Fozzie went to sleep on my boyfriend's jacket and slept there for several hours.
