Well, even if we stick to one calendar, it's not after Christmas yet -- we're on'y about halfway through it. But how about this as a compromise: since Santa is expected to make his trip no later than the morning of the first day of Christmas, the Santa-related songs should stop before Boxing Day but we can keep playing "Adeste Fidelis", "Riu Riu Chiu", and "Angels We Have Heard On High" through Twelfth-Night?
(Or we could do as some countries do, and expect Santa on St. Nicholas' Day, and get the cutesy songs completely out of the way at the begining of December...)
