Wouldn't the F-Pen be mightier than the F-Sword?

I was gonna say something about the F-BFG, but then I realized how redundant that would be.

Not sure that we refer to that phrase "F-Bomb" over here (though I've heard it online a fair few times), it'd seem a bit silly considering what sort of language we can hear on TV after the watershed*. I think bad language is a bit less of a big deal here maybe.

But it makes me wonder, whether people might interpolate and suppose that the US ended WWII by calling Hiroshima+Nagasaki arseholes (OK sorry, "assholes")?

(*-Eg, "the C word" being used once in popular celebrity quiz show "Shooting Stars", or insinuated in a scene in popular sitcom "I'm Alan Partridge")
