Nonsense. Furthermore, opposing with hate with love taints the love and corrupts it, turning it into an undead similacrum of the real thing. That is the necessary and obvious result of employing the feeling of love to unilateral, non-consensual goals. "For your own good", indeed. Hatred knows full well that emnity wrapped in sanctimonious concern is still emnity, and that blesséd aggression is still aggression.

He who employs his capacity to love to oppose hatred endangers his capacity to love, starting with the ability to tell the difference between actual love and the will to dominate.
