Two campmates arrived in rented van. Seems theme this year is expensive car trouble en route. Neighbors also had trouble.

Pennsic is *always* about expensive car troubles. my first one was that way, and my third wasn't the greatest either.

FWIW, the locus of the bad auto juju may not be confined to Pennsic. [livejournal.com profile] stevemb & I went to Confluence in Pittsburgh last weekend. I thought it prudent to have our car's alignment checked before the trip because I hit a major pothole a few weeks ago. $1100 later...
