Okay, I should really be off searching YouTube for relevant videos, but until I get around to doing that I'll put this out there in case any of my friends already know the answer:

Do lions and tigers do the pre-pounce butt-wiggle that housecates do?

In other news, I found the claw-scissors. I got most of Perrine's front toes done before she woke up enough to squirm free -- I still have to get her dewclaws and her hind feet.

And I take some small comfort in knowing that even on my most useless of days due to pain and fatigue (today was another such, alas), I still have some utility as cat-furniture.

Snow earlier. Pretty. Vehicles frosted like donuts. Not enough stayed put on the pavement to notice. Grassy spots properly winterwhite.

In that case, now I really have to go search YouTube. :-)

Thanks for the answer.

About 15 years ago (guessing here, because it was when I still lived in Virginia), National Geographic did a really good special about cats called "Caressing the Tiger." It showed a number of similarities between housecats and great cats. SO cool.

I'll have to see if Netflix has it, and if so, I'll tape it for you.
