Uh oh.
This afternoon a question in person confused me and my confusion confused the asker until we figured out that an email message sent to me had never arrived. Er, that's not good, but maybe my spam filter got confused? I figured I'd check the spamtrap for it when I got home.
Then a couple hours later came, from a different person, the question, "Did you see the email from earlier today?", which seemed innocent enough as it could've been sent after I'd left the house ...
But now I'm home, and I see no signs of either message, not in my mailbox, not in my spamtrap, not in the copy-to-my-home-machine duplicates of my incoming mail stream. So two different people have sent me mail in the past uh (48 hours? 60?) -- that I know of -- that never arrived and never bounced.
This is not good. Very not good, considering the content and timing of both messages (that is, neither was idle chitchat or "dude you gotta see this"; both concerned coordinating plans).
I know email ain't 100% reliable, but ... Eww.
At this point, I've no clue where the problem is, whose server dropped the message -- the two senders were on different ISPs, which suggests that my mail provider is responsible, which would be bad if true, since a big part of the reason I punted my last ISP was unreliable email delivery.
I hope this is a brief, very unusual glitch, and won't turn into an ongoing problem.

And let's get together soon. Do you have plans on Saturday the 27th? We could give you a ride to

I only shot a little on digital, because I figured so many other people would already have the digital side of things covered, but I'll send what I shot. If I can remember how I split videos into individual frames before, I'll check whether anything from the cell phone is worth separating out. (As I probably mentioned, the most I really expect to get from the cell phone videos is enough to make animated icons.)
Do you mean the 29th? If so, I probably oughtn't go because I have a gig in PA the following day that I'll need to get up early for (and be in condition to walk around a large site), but I'm Very Tempted to go anyhow, especially with a ride already being offered, because it's been so long since I made it to one of her parties. Count me as a maybe, leaning toward yes but still weighing how much I trust my body.

I've gone through the digital photos and tweaked contrast and such (there's one where I really hope somebody with a better camera got a similar angle). Right now the ones worth showing anyone are in GIMP .xcf files; is that good for you, or should I save them as jpeg (or something else)? And: email them (what address?) or put 'em in a temp directory on the web and just email the URL? (About 30M in xcf, will of course be much smaller in jpg.)
Lab costs: if I drop off everything, I think it'll be ~$100 (very rough approximation) for develop&print (it's not a cheap lab, but he does good work), less (uh, about half?) if I get contact sheets instead of individual prints; 2/3 as much in either case if I get around to developing the BW film myself[*] ... are you looking for prints or scans? I don't remember how much this lab charges for PhotoCD with developing (I've got a price list around here somewhere but can't find it at the moment), but if you've got a film scanner, or scans from prints will be enough, or you plan to work with prints anyhow, then I can skip that part. (I do plan to put these rolls at the head of the queue for when I get some spare cash to spend on them, regardless of what help I get in that department.
The lab I use is up in Charles Village.
One roll, by the way, is rather experimental and may or may not wind up having anything useful on it.
Party: I shouldn't go -- based on how I've been feeling this week, I shouldn't tempt fate -- but I'm feeling more and more tempted to go the more I consider it. Seeing
[*] ... with the caveat that when it comes to printing from the developed film, I am an utter novice.

For the digital prints, if you can convert them to .jpgs that would be good. If you can zip them and email, that would be convenient. Downloading from web directory is easy enough for me too, if that would be easier for you.
Re: Party...Offer still stands if you want to go. But please don't hurt yourself and push too hard.
