This Saturday, The Homespun Ceilidh Band is performing at the 16th annual Anne Arundel Scottish Festival & Highland Games (at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, a stone's throw up the street from the Maryland Renaissance Festival). We're scheduled to perform at 10:00 and 13:00 on the big stage in the Bothy.

Related to that announcement, is there anybody planning to go there from (or via) Baltimore, heading out early enough, who would be willing to give me a ride? Or, for that matter, anyone heading to RenFest from Baltimore who could drop me off at the fairgrounds on the way? (If you take I-97 to get to RenFest from Baltimore, you wind up driving right past the back gate of the fairgrounds, where the performers' entrance to the festival is.)

And I figure this is much more of a long shot, but is anybody headed from Baltimore to Gaithersburg tomorrow night, who could get me to rehearsal? (Last rehearsal before the gig Saturday, and I've missed a few rehearsals due to transportation challenges.) Rehearsal runs from 20:00 to 22:00, but I'll take whatever portion of that I can get a ride to...
