Most of us, most of the time, have no idea that we're doing small things that annoy others. So I do hope you won't be shy in dropping clues if I seem to be doing something that annoys. I can't necessarily promise to fix it, but I can promise to either try my best or give a real explanation (which would never involve the phrase "small thing").
