Inauspicious

Darkover starts today. I'm supposed to be coordinating musicians for a Playford dance this afternoon, performing with The Homespun Ceilidh Band tonight after the masquerade and tomorrow evening at seven, and coordinating musicians for the Regency ball tomorrow afternoon.

So far I'm having a killer bad-pain day and am struggling to pack and prepare, and still don't know how I'm getting there. This is not a good weekend for a flare.

I didn't get a lot of definite responses to my attempts to recruit musicians, so if you can get there in time for the Playford dance and are up to playing the music, please do -- especially since at this point I'm not 100% certain that I can get there in time myself.

Urk. No, just picked a really poor time to be AFK. *sigh*

Can't find my copy of the Regency music, either. :-(

if it makes you feel any better, I'm driving someone's Echo right now, and there's no way a string base would fit in it. Looked in on the regency dance and there was maugie and two other musicians.

here's hoping you feel better soon.

Remember to drink water - it isn't a cure for a flare-up, but I find it gets worse if I don't drink enough water.

Alas, I have yet another migraine, due to 90% neck pain and 10% sinus pain (It wouldn't be a migraine without the neck pain).

I shouldn't be on the computer, but I wanted to find out what people's Darkover schedules were.

We will be up at Darkover on Saturday.

I look forward to seeing you. I did get there and back tonight and know how I'm getting there tomorrow, but how I'm getting home again (and when) is rather vague so far. Wheee! Pushed too hard at the start of the concert and my injured wrist lit up with pain; gonna have to be careful not to overdo during the Regency Ball because our second concert starts right when the ball ends, so no time to ice the wrist in between.

I really hope your migraine has completely passed by the time you head up thisaway -- good luck.
