Gah. Are there no pharmacies that deliver in your area? It's usually the non-chain ones that do; we have Rite Aid, CVS and Walgreens in this area, none of which offer delivery service, but several independents and local chains (less than a dozen locations) which will deliver you prescriptions, and will even pick up your scrip if the doctor's office won't call it in for you. It's worth looking into, especially since running completely out seems to be a regular worry for you.
Y'know, I don't even know any non-chain pharmacies around here unless you count the one attached to the "HMO Lite" clinic. I know where a wee independant hardware store is near me (and a few others at varying distances), an independent auto-parts store, non-chain fast-food (mostly Mexican, Chinese or crabs), but no pharmacies. I'll have to flip open the phone book next time I run downstairs.
