My sleep was broken up into too many too-short chunks, and I'm feeling that (plus hunger), but I'm not feeling as incoherent and wobbly as yesterday afternoon/evening. I woke up thinking it was Saturday, for some reason, but once I got past tht confusion I next noticed that the bedroom was a bit less frosty. (Actualy I noticed that various parts of me hurt and I needed to shift position under the cat, then I noticed the temperature.) Turns out to be 64°F in the bedroom and bathroom and 54°F in the kitchen, and a few degrees make a huge difference in that part of the scale.
Then I stood up, and was able to hear falling water hitting the tarp upstairs instead of a bucket, which was a bit of a panic (it doesn't seem to have been doing it very long, and that is what the tarp is there for); dealing with that let me notice how BrightBrightBright the world is on the south side of the house, leading me to suspect that I wouldn't need to shovel the steps first next thing like I'd made a made a mental note to do before falling asleep, after all. (They did want just a little salt, being on the shady side of the house.)
So currently I'm feeling mostly a whole lot more together than when I last logged in, if still tired because I didn't sleep long enough and woke up in pain -- the next couple hours could bring surprises, but I think I'll be in a usefully functional state until evening. The afternoon is going toleave me awfully tired afterward, but that's expected regardless.
Biggest obstacle right now is that my legs and lower back hurt a lot -- not the best situation for a long walk -- but I'm about to find out whether this is going to be a day when my pain meds work well or sortakinda work; with luck they'll cut the leg pain enough to make the walk reasonable.
Hmm. Long answer to a short question ... maybe not as awake as I thought I was. Still basically functional and not experiencing exhaustion-related visual distortions though, so in decent shape for the appointment as long as I'm up to the walk. Looking forward to eating something after the blood draw.
