I question the value of GreatestJournal at the moment, seeing as how it's terribly overloaded and broken. :)

... and the owner is apparently uninterested in attempting to fix it, telling everyone to migrate to InsaneJournal before GJ goes 404. Yah.

The metric is inbound links, based on the purchase price paid by AOL for weblogs.com divided by the estimated number of inbound links it had.
