I had windows made for my house (odd size openings in an old house). Good ones, with tilt-out sashes, double panes, argon filled, low-e glass. About $150 a window. Matching screens were $10 extra. They offered mullions and so forth, to make the windows look like period windows, but I didn't opt for those, as I prefer an unfettered view of the outdoors. My brother-in-law and I installed 'em (13 in all, plus one redo) ourselves in a weekend.
